A dog crate that reads as furniture. The 12 mm particle board panels and steel frame carry up to 250 lb on top, so the wide surface works as an end table for a lamp, books or a plant while your dog has a den underneath.

The 38.6 in crate opens from the front and from one side, and the side door can be fitted on the left or the right to suit the room. Four casters move it between rooms and two of them lock, so it stays put once you pick a spot. The door latches slide, and the metal grid keeps the inside bright and airy.

  • Crate size 38.6 x 25.6 x 29.3 in; interior 36.6 x 23.6 x 25.2 in
  • 12 mm particle board and steel frame; 250 lb top load
  • Front door plus a side door that fits either side
  • 4 casters, 2 lockable; slides rather than lifts
  • Brown finish; crate weight 63.7 lb
  • Assembly required; hardware and instructions included

Measure your dog before you order: with the dog standing, the interior length should clear its nose-to-tail length by at least 4 in, and the interior height should clear its sitting height by at least 2 in.
